- My Dear Sweet Rose,
If I read the "right" area, I believe you have been given a gift of visuals...of seeing. I have, through our Dear God, been given a gift of "feeling". I do not take it lightly, either. There are many who have this gift. Also, my daughter has been given a gift of seeing a person's past, in detail....and also, a detailed visual of future events. As crazy as it may sound, as a young child who had turned her life over to God, these "things" became more prevalent. In fact, it sometimes frightened her and even though I reassurred her, she had been given a gift from God, we still ended up visiting a counselor. After my daughter's visit with her, she called me into her office for a private session. This is when, the "world" confirmed what we already knew. The counselor asked me, "Did you know your daughter had prophetic dreams?" DUH!!! lol I just smiled and said, "Yes, I've experienced this with her before." She explained, she had "tested" my daughter's statement upon first entering her office, "I've been here before and seen you." The counselor thought to herself, anyone could say that, so she asked her if there was anything else she remembered. Before the session was over, my daughter told her what was in each drawer of her desk, even to what color of ink pen, marker, etc., was in it, and what she used them for. lol The counselor was more shaken than we were. I believe she needed counseling after our visit. As life went by, my precious daughter was taken in by some of the enticements of the world, which took away her "gift". However, even as her struggles to come back to God have been great, she still holds onto her faith that He will bring her through her trials. I'm thankful for this! Perhaps, her gift was for temporary enlightenment for BOTH of us!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Keep the faith, Dear Sister, as I have read you have had many "doubters" in your life. Hold on to Jesus, for He will guide you through this "life" maze!!
